Kyle Cook's
Eagle Project
I wanted to do a project which was different from all the rest. As far as I know,
there has never been a project concerning Global Warming. The truly great Eagle
projects are used by many people, help the community, and raise awareness. The
goal of this project is to get all the local schools to incorporate the picture post into
their science class lessons and teach students about the effects of Global Warming
and to monitor plant health. As Boy Scouts we are taught to enjoy, respect and defend
nature. We live by the American Outdoor code, our Scout Oath and Law, and
"Leave No Trace" principals. I am also a member of the Order of the Arrow,
which is an honor society of Boy Scout campers dedicated to these ideals.
